With us leading 52-50 and 2-some minutes left Pop throws the ball away to J-Bo against the press. I turn to my dad and day:
"I've seen this game before."
And so again we give a game away late, missing open shots and free throws, breaking down on defense. Disappointing, we had this one well in hand at the under-4 timeout.
Time for happy hour at Palomino's, then back for the remainder of the Badger-less tournament. More thoughts later.

Effin' 3 points in the last five minutes? I would say I'm surprised but I'm not.
Other than the Gopher football team, I can't think of another team in recent memory that has pissed away more games.
Frustrated incorporated.
Time for brandy, brats and cheese
curds. As I wrote before, you had
our number and now the tide is
turning. I guess Dick Bennett is
chopped liver compared to Bo,
however, he did go to a final four.
How is that a fluke?
Thanks for stopping by and commenting MSU1978, but huh? You beat Minnesota today, right? Congrats on a nice win, if the Goofs make their free throws it might be a different story.
That was a real bummer today. Don't remember the exact numbers, but they flashed some stat that the Badgers were heavily out-scored in the final minutes of each half. Bad news.
What are you thinking seed-wise, 10 or 11?
I'd say 10, but 11 or 12 would be possible and/or appropriate. This is 2006 all over again.
